Twelve years after it was first organized by the Cultural Association of Sifnos, the Nikolaos Tselementes Festival of Cycladic Gastronomy (September the 6th, 7th and 8th, Artemonas Sifnos) does not look back on the events that have passed in an attempt to become an institution, because, after so many successful years, it already is one.
It is an institution in the minds of Sifnians, Cycladic islanders, Greeks, and Europeans who, with their participation, their volunteering and their love for so many years, have contributed greatly to the promotion of the local products of the Cyclades and to the special gastronomy of our islands, praising the Cycladic cuisine to each and every visitor.
An award-winning Greek and European institution, with distinctions such as the GOLD award at the European Gastronomic Festival 2016 and the SILVER award at the Best City Awards 2016.
Twelve years later, with the continued support of the South Aegean Region, the Municipality of Sifnos and all the island’s clubs and associations, we are preparing for another encounter of cultures, tastes, traditions, but above all people from every corner of the earth. Another opportunity for old friends and acquaintances to “embrace” the new guests to the island, to celebrate, eat and drink all together, and to give everyone an unforgettable experience.
