The Chamber of Kavala, a member of the European SME support network «Enterprise Europe Network», organized this year the 26th exhibition «KAVALAEXPO 2018», 5-9 October 2018. This year’s «KAVALAEXPO» has as the central theme the promotion of local gastronomy the promotion of our region’s products and flavours, wanting to interconnect the gastronomy, the local agri-food businesses.
In cooperation with Hellenic Chef Greek Gastronomy will be held throughout the duration of exposure, LIVING GASTRONOMY with the participation of established chefs who are using the products of the exhibitors, will create unique dishes that will highlight not only the flavors and products of our region. Meat smoking techniques will be presented, tread fruit, techniques, and dry curing processes dishes creation techniques, confectionery techniques, and a spectacular chef show-flamed. Using the exhibitors’ products will create the exposure plate and give prizes for the best product (Kavalaexpo Gastronomy Award 2018), taste award (Kavalaexpo Taste Award 2018), Packaging Award (Kavalaexpo Packaging Award 2018) and innovative-original product award (Kavalaexpo New comers-Innovative Award 2018).
At the same time, all stands the agri-food exhibitors will visit renowned chef who will create, for each company separately, a dish with this product.
