The gastronomic guide of Taste Atlas revealed the second, third, and fourth places for this year’s World Food Awards.
Specifically, the Peloponnese ranks second among the best food regions in the world. Taste Atlas recommends gourounopoula, olive oil, and Mainalo Fir Honey, while Kalamata and Ancient Olympia are among the destinations travellers must visit.
Congratulations to the Peloponnese (silver medal) and Emilia-Romagna (bronze medal).
In fourth place on the list is the Sichuan region of China (known for its noodles), while in third place is Emilia-Romagna in Italy, renowned for its ragù Bolognese in all its forms.
