Description
Olga, with her extensive background in Public Health, blends her deep love for Greek gastronomy with a dedication to crafting meals that nourish both body and soul.
Captivated by food from an early age and shaped by family gatherings where meals were moments of connection and tradition, her culinary passion blossomed further during her years in the hospitality industry.
Today, Olga’s home in Kallithea, Athens, Attica is a welcoming haven where guests from around the globe immerse themselves in the true essence of Greek cuisine using the freshest local ingredients.
Immerse yourself in Greek culture with Olga’s Greek Vegetarian Lunch — an immersive 3-hour vegetarian Greek cooking class set in the picturesque neighborhood of Kallithea, Athens.
Guided by a Public Health professional celebrating authentic Greek plant-based cooking, this hands-on session takes place in Olga’s delightful home, filled with vintage touches and nestled within a serene garden.
Olga leads you through creating a stunning array of vegetarian dishes inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Greece — from selecting the freshest ingredients to mastering the techniques that bring out their best flavors.
You’ll begin with briny Kalamon Olives and rustic Corn Bread infused with Sunflower Seeds and Turmeric, then move on to Stuffed Vine Leaves — delicately filled with rice and aromatic herbs — and Rice with Leeks or Cabbage, both celebrated during Sarakosti, the Lenten period before Easter.
After cooking together, you’ll gather around a communal table in Olga’s garden, clink glasses of local rosé wine, share stories, and connect over a delicious feast — with Olga’s love for Greek history and storytelling adding a special touch.
Kallithea, meaning “beautiful view,” sits just a stone’s throw from Athens’ city center and just 20 minutes from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, easily reached by trolley, taxi, or car.
