Our story begins in Byzantine times when the estate operated as a winery, producing the renowned Malvasia sweet white wine—one of the Mediterranean’s most celebrated vintages. After the Greek Revolution, it became the cherished summer retreat of the esteemed Greek poet Giannis Ritsos, who spent his childhood holidays here. In 1929, the estate was transformed into a traditional olive press, serving the local community in olive oil production until 1967.

Today, Liotrivi Organic Estate stands as a living cultural monument, beautifully restored and dedicated to agrotourism, offering immersive experiences that connect visitors to the region’s rich heritage.
