Nektarios Filippopoulos, a specialist in wild mushrooms and truffles in Greece, founded his company to collect everything the earth gives us in abundance — mushrooms, greens, herbs, truffles, wild fruits and more — supplying the best restaurants in Greece and abroad, leaving zero footprints on nature.
Together with his partners, experienced and trained mushroom pickers, he conducts dozens of seminars, excursions, and foraging collections across the Peloponnese and beyond. Our expert team safely collects over 60 types of edible mushrooms, including exquisite porcini, chanterelles, morels, and wild truffles.
This private truffle and mushroom hunt takes place in Zarouchla, near Kalavrita — located on the slope of the mountain of Chelmos at more than a thousand meters, one of the most beautiful villages in Achaia and the entire Peloponnese. The forest on the outskirts, densely planted with fir and pine trees, fills your lungs with fresh air. Winding stone streets and traditional mountain houses create a setting of extreme picturesqueness.
Guided Forest Hike (2–3 hours): Hike through the forest collecting mushrooms and truffles with seasoned foragers, participating in a seminar on identifying poisonous, medicinal, and edible varieties.
Truffle Hunting: Experience the excitement of truffle hunting with specially trained dogs uncovering hidden treasures.
Gourmet Picnic: At a breathtaking river or waterfall spot, our chef prepares mouthwatering dishes featuring wild mushrooms and truffles — orzotto and omelettes — paired with fine wine and local delicacies. Walking routes are short and adaptable for ages 5 to 80+.
Menu: Bruschetta with truffle butter. Greek salad with pickled wild mushrooms. Omelette with graviera or pecorino cheese and truffle flakes on bread, or Saganaki with aromatic Golden Trumpet mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, and feta. Aglio e olio pasta with truffle flakes, or orzotto with wild mushrooms. Black Angus picanha, baby potatoes with truffle butter and truffle flakes. Bottled wine. Crepes with yoghurt, Golden Trumpet mushroom spoon sweet, and elderflower.
