Socrates Olive Oil

Socrates Olive Oil is a family business from Delphi, Central Greece, producing extra virgin olive oil since 2014. Located between Delphi and Itea, the estate overlooks a magnificent panoramic view of the Amphissa olive grove and the Gulf of Corinth.

Visitors meet at the scenic overlook for an introduction to the history of the olive grove, then descend to Itea to see age-old olive trees up close and discuss cultivation and olive harvest. During harvest season, visitors may participate in the harvest and witness olive oil extraction at a mill within a 30-minute distance.

The olive oil tasting covers different olive oil qualities accompanied by bread or nuts, as well as green and black olives with olive paste and feta cheese dressed with olive oil and oregano — a traditional Greek meze. Visitors may purchase before leaving.
