Papantonis Winery

Papantonis Winery is a small boutique winery that welcomes guests with warm household hospitality. Officially founded in 1992 by brothers Antonis and Kalli Papantoni, the estate’s 5-hectare (roughly 5 ha) vineyards lie just outside Malandreni near Argos, at 320 metres altitude within the PDO Nemea zone of the Peloponnese. The property was acquired in 1979 after extensive research, and the winery is equipped with modern red and white winemaking facilities. The winery is located in Argos at a distance of 15 km from the vineyard and is outfitted with modern red and white winemaking equipment.

Winery Tour and Wine Tasting

• Winery Presentation: Guests are welcomed and introduced to the winery’s philosophy and the story of the Papantoni family’s connection to Nemea.
• Guided Cellar Tour: Walk through the barrel cellar to understand the ageing of red wines, then visit the bottle cellar where the wines complete their maturation.
• Wine Tasting: Finish at the bar area for a tasting of Papantonis wines accompanied by local cheeses and delicacies, with time to discuss wine with the family.
