Maria, your passionate local host and food enthusiast, will meet you in front of the Port Authority Offices in Kalamata. You will follow her with your own vehicle (or transportation can be arranged upon request) to begin the olive oil tour experience.

Part 2 – Traditional Organic Olive Grove Walking Tour

Stroll through a perennial organic olive grove, just 10 minutes from Kalamata. Learn about different olive tree varieties, ages, and shapes, the history of olive cultivation from the Neolithic era to today, and traditional olive harvesting techniques.

Part 3 – Certified Olive Oil Mill Visit

Visit a certified olive oil mill close to the grove. Learn the full production process, from olive harvesting to pressing and bottling.
