Dimitris Georgas is a 5ha organic vine grower, wine producer, and winemaker, based in Spata, 20km East of Athens, inside the historical viticultural zone of Mesogaia, the land of the Savatiano grape variety and the world-known Retsina.
Within more than a century of family history of vine growers and wine producers, Dimitris 4th generation makes for more than twenty years, fine high-quality PGI natural wines with zero added sulfites, as well as other nutritive grape products, respecting the local ecosystem and focusing on the indigenous grape variety Savatiano using natural farming techniques including organic and biodynamic vineyard practices. In his hands, this ancient grape variety expresses its full potential and complexity, through various ways of vinification (fresh, resinated, barrel-aged, dessert).
TOUR AND TASTING
We offer visitors the choice of three distinct tasting sessions, each providing a unique and immersive experience in the world of wine and our family’s heritage.
Booking Options
Visitors walk in the vineyard or visit the winery for an hour. They will then taste our wines and we’ll tell them our family story; we’ll talk about the indigenous grape variety Savatiano and about Retsina in the region of Attika.
The tour is presented by the wine producer, or by family members.

The tasting comprises our current wines, grape water and grape juice, local fresh and organic appetizers, and coffee.

The tasting comprises our special or collection wines, a tasting of grape water and grape juice, refreshments, organic homemade finger food appetizers, and coffee.
