Description

Chateau Kaniaris has been engaged in winemaking since 2006, when it acquired the former Evharis estate. The vineyards and winery are located on the eastern slopes of Mount Gerania, 15 km from Megara in Attica – Athens — an integrated, self-contained private vineyard of 35 hectares, one of the most historic in Greece. The estate invites everyone to a journey in nature: secret paths, remote valleys, forest clearings, old wine presses, small shelters where you can rest in serenity, and the estates’ wines to taste while gazing at the horizon of the Saronic and Corinthian Gulfs.

Winery Tour and Wine Tasting

  • Historic Estate Walk: Explore Chateau Kaniaris’s extraordinary 35-hectare estate on Mount Gerania — walk secret paths, discover old wine presses, rest at forest clearings, and feel the sea breezes of both the Saronic and Corinthian Gulfs.
  • Attic Wine Heritage: Learn about the history of one of Attica‘s most historic vineyard estates and how Chateau Kaniaris has revived its winemaking legacy since 2006.
  • Wine Tasting: Taste Chateau Kaniaris wines while gazing across the extraordinary horizon between two gulfs — one of the most atmospheric tasting experiences in the greater Athens wine region.
