On Monday, January 30, 2023, the “VorOina wine show of Athens” will take place at the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Grande Bretagne in Syntagma Square, between 12.00 and 20.00 hours, with wine lovers, the public who wants to meet and be informed about the evolution of branded quality wine from distiguished wineries of Northern Greece.
After all, the “VorOina”, like all the events of the “Winemakers’ Association of Northern Greece”, aims to develop the wine culture in our country, through the tasting of top wines and grape spirits, which will offer an introduction to the Northern Greek vineyard, the grape varieties cultivated and the producers.
During the show other events will take place such as masterclasses with flavors, a blind tasting competition, an honorary presentation of Mrs. Stavroula Kourakou- Dragona the person that mapped the Greek vineyard, a presentation that will move, award-winning wines of the 22nd Thessaloniki International Wine & Spirits Competition and of course, the finals of the pan-Hellenic Somelier’s competition.
The entrance ticket for visitors to Voroina, online via the Viva platform costs12€, while for students 8€ (showing their student ID upon arrival at the event). The possibility to purchase via Viva is valid until the end of the event. To buy your tickets from the secretarial desk at the entrance of the event the cost is 15€ while for students 8€.
