A two-day event, dedicated to the “10th Pomegranate Festival-Ermioni 2021”, will take place at the Central Port of Ermioni on October 30 and 31. In recent years, the “Pomegranate Festival” is an institution for Ermioni and attracts many visitors by promoting to everyone the famous PDO “Pomegranate of Ermioni”.
The pomegranate has been cultivated in Ermioni for almost a century. Until recently, Ermioni was the only area in Greece where pomegranate cultivation was systematic. It is therefore no coincidence that it is the only pomegranate in Greece that has identified its name with its region of origin. This unique relationship has been celebrated in Ermioni for 10 years… and we hope for many more.
The organizing committee and the residents of Ermioni invite us on October 30 & 31 to introduce us to those special characteristics that have made the Ermioni pomegranate stand out from the other pomegranates. They will be waiting guests to share with us stories, traditions and myths of their region related to this wonderful fruit.

Saturday, October 30:
- 15:30, Cycling for young and old (from the port of Ermioni to the Kontou estate, guided tour of the rose gardens and return).
- 17:30, A treat for the little cyclists
- 19:00, Concert with Christos Dantis and his band
Sunday, October 31:
- 09:30, Lost treasure hunt
- 11:00, Start of event – The speeches
- 11:40, Traditional dances by the Hermione Dance Group
- 12:00, Opening of the fair with live music by orchestra and local artists
