The Oenoxenia 2023 Festival, taking place from August 19 to September 3, 2023, commemorates a decade of continuous activities and aims to make a lasting impact on quality and sustainable development. Various organizations, including the Oenoxenia Quality Network, the Municipality of Aigialia through D.K.E.P.A., the Region of Western Greece, Achaia Development SA, the Chamber of Achaia, the Constantakopoulos Foundation from Costa Navarino, the Koutsochera Foundation, the Regional Union of Municipalities of Western Greece, and the Municipality of Kalavryta, are joining forces to support this grand event in Achaia and the Northern Peloponnese.
The festival, centered around Aegio, spreads out in concentric circles to the west and east, showcasing the region’s exceptional landscapes from the Corinthian Gulf to the mountain vineyards and Kalavryta. It also highlights the diverse range of high-quality products from the wider area, including the renowned PDO/PGI-certified food treasures of the Region of Western Greece, with the wine from the slopes of Aigialeia serving as its focal point.
The festival boasts notable sponsors, including companies in the wine industry and local businesses, whose names will be announced soon. Olympia Odos, a major sponsor, plays a crucial role in safely guiding visitors through the bustling and vibrant Aegialeia region as the central transportation route of the Northern Peloponnese.
