By joint decision of the Minister of Tourism Elena Kuntura and the Minister of Rural Development & Food Evangelos Apostolu, the framework of operations of the wine tourism enterprises is upgraded.
The new technical and operational specifications of the wine-making enterprises were redefined and a new Mark for Wineries open to the public was introduced.
The procedure for granting the mark for a winery open to the public is redefined by the competent regional department of the Ministry of Tourism, by updating the required supporting documents. The mark is granted within 28 days of the submission of the relevant application and all supporting documents and is valid for 5 years from its issuance.
Lastly, a new form and type of the Mark for Winery OPEN TO THE PUBLIC will be granted to wine tourism enterprises.
