From 19th to 23rd of December, Kannari Square in Kipseli will fill up with a Greek atmosphere, with Greek flavors, Mediterranean flavors. The Festival “Flavors on the Road” is a great celebration that aspires to showcase the Greek food product by integrating it into the context of Mediterranean gastronomic philosophy.
Through its actions, it will highlight the great importance of the taste and promotion of local products both in the economy of a country through trade, tourism, the labor market and culture through the exchange of knowledge and traditions, the preservation of the historical knowledge and understanding of gastronomic identity. With products from every corner of our country and beyond, the visitor will have the opportunity for 5 days to come in contact with local products from all over the country and get to know local flavors.
The “Flavors on the Road”, states the mobility, the constant interaction of gastronomic habits in the wider Mediterranean region and how they have defined the production of the food over time as a result of a cultural product. On the other hand, our effort to bring to the Greek, first of all, a consumer, with a few days ”Festival, the producers” suggestions for their dietary routine.
