The “Agios Dimitrios” Association of Isioma Karies organizes a two-day cultural event on the 24th and 25th of August 2018, at the village of Isioma Karies and invites all friends to share feelings, thoughts, and inspirations.
The events include:
Attending Mass and blessing of the Holy Bread at the chapel of Ai–Yiannis (=St. John),
Shadow Puppetry with the performance “Karagiozis, the Palaeontologist”,
A tribute to Arcadian gastronomy that includes a speech by the Clinical Dietitian – Nutritionist, Mr Bertzeletos Dimitris, with the subject “Local Products: Culture and Politics”, and the presentation of Arcadian food by the author of the book “Housewife’s Recipes”, Mrs. Laga Tasia.
The events will be accompanied by traditional dances, music programs, etc.
