The event that kicks off the wine season every year is back! The Athens Wine & Art Festival, the grand celebration that unites the aesthetics of art with the enjoyment of wine, returns for a two-day event filled with experiences, discoveries, and encounters. Join us on Saturday, October 18th, and Sunday, October 19th, at the iconic venue of the old OLYMPIAS Hotel, located at the intersection of Athinas and Sofokleous streets in the city’s historic centre.

Join us on Saturday, October 18th, and Sunday, October 19th, at the iconic venue of the old OLYMPIAS Hotel, located at the intersection of Athinas and Sofokleous streets in the city’s historic centre.

Set in one of the city’s most historic venues, the festival is the most inspired convergence of wine and art. This year, we are proud to host over 70 boutique wineries from Greece and abroad. Small and medium-sized winemakers will present their wines and invite the public to a unique tasting experience, offering the chance to discover unique wines and meet the passionate people behind the labels.

The artistic experience is curated by renowned art curator Iris Kritikou, who has created a special group exhibition for this year’s festival. Featuring painting, sculpture, printmaking, and textiles, the exhibition is uniquely inspired by the themes of wine, place, and time, allowing guests to immerse themselves in a world where creativity flows—from the glass to the canvas.

With activities for everyone, the festival promises a complete cultural experience:

• Engaging seminars and presentations by leading oenologists, sommeliers, and producers.
• A vibrant musical atmosphere curated by beloved radio producers.
