The story begins in the early 20th century, when grandfather Takis Klonas planted the estate’s first vineyards — early harvests that revealed remarkable aromatic complexity and inspired him to bottle his own wine.

Today, the Klona family continues this tradition, cultivating both red and white grape varieties with care and dedication, producing around 60,000 bottles annually while remaining committed to quality over quantity.

Driven by deep respect for heritage and terroir, Ktima Klona focuses on unlocking the potential of Greece’s native grape varieties — most notably the noble Xinomavro and the rare, elegant Preknadi. With every bottle, the winery seeks to elevate the reputation of Naoussa on the world’s wine map.
