Nestled in a magnificent 19th-century stone building, the Museum of Samos Wine offers a captivating journey into the rich history and tradition of Samos wine. Originally a private winery, this historic building later served as a warehouse and barrel-making facility before transforming into a museum in 2005.

The museum beautifully showcases the defining history of Samos wine through a diverse array of exhibits. Visitors can explore:

The museum’s layout, designed with modern museum science, takes visitors on a chronological journey through the traditional vineyard cultivation of Samos. The exhibits not only tell the story of Samian wine but also highlight its historical, social, and cultural significance. Particularly striking are the huge wooden tanks, which were in use until just a few decades ago.
