Lefkada Micro Farm is located in Nydri, a village in Lefkada, Ionian Islands. The idea for the farm started three years ago with Andreas Dimitrakopoulos, who decided to renovate his grandfather’s olive grove from scratch.
His passion for a healthy lifestyle inspired him to create a place where people from all over the world could connect with nature and participate in workshops and gastronomic experiences.
Visitors spend their mornings at the farm learning to make simple yet authentic Greek recipes in the farm’s open-air kitchen. Through experiential workshops, the micro farm shares its love for authentic Greek cuisine in an interactive way.
One of the workshop activities is learning how to make traditional pies with phyllo — a thin dough used in traditional Greek pies and other recipes. Participants open the dough together, harvest organic vegetables from the garden, and create four different fillings for different recipes.
