Wrapping Stuffed Vine Leaves, Marianna’s

At Marianna’s (Kazakis House of Viticulture) in Halkidiki, Macedonia, the art of wrapping stuffed vine leaves — dolmades — is one of the most beloved traditions in Greek cuisine. This one-hour hands-on class teaches the technique from an expert Macedonian cook using fresh vine leaves from the estate’s own vineyard. The Kazakis House of Viticulture has been in operation since 1994 and remains a traditional family business, close to Agios Pavlos in Halkidiki. Marianna’s Products are organic and ISO22000:2005-certified. In 2010 the family introduced the traditional, hand-made Marianna’s Pies.
