Zoinos Winery

Zoinos Winery is located since 1974 on the slopes of Zitsa, a village at an altitude of 700 m, 26 km northwest of Ioannina. In the area one can admire the viticulturist zone of Zitsa (PDO, 1972) with calcareous soil and steep slopes, where the white native variety Debina and the red Vlachiko and Bekari are grown. The green valley of the river Kalama with its crystal clear water completes the breathtaking natural environment. 

TOUR AND TASTING
Zoinos Winery is open to the public all year round and offers its guests a comprehensive tour service. The tour includes a walk through the vineyards, a visit to our winery and distillery and a wine tasting. Guests can taste our wines in a tasting room while learning about the history of Greek wine through mythology, as well as the history of the wine of Zitsa and Epirus. During the wine tasting, visitors will have the opportunity to taste our wines from the unique varieties Debina, Vlachiko and Bekari and the well-known Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Traminer, as well as our Tsipouro (white grape distillate from Epirus), accompanied by delicacies from Epirus.
