Description
Kir-Yianni was founded in 1997 by Yiannis Boutaris, one of the leading figures in the Greek wine industry, when he left the Boutari Wine Group, the premium family wine company that his grandfather established in 1879.
Grapes are cultivated at Kir-Yianni’s vineyard holdings in the two wine regions of Naoussa and Amyndaeon, on both sides of Mount Vermio in north-western Macedonia. Today Kir-Yianni, led by Stelios Boutaris, son of Yiannis, continues its vision by combining innovation, respect for tradition, and true knowledge of the wine.
Set out on one of two bike routes of different difficulty at this beautiful Macedonia wine estate. Pedal through the rolling vineyards on electric bikes, or bring your own bicycle. Cruise the more relaxed route or take the more challenging path if you are up for it.
Both routes are clearly signposted, and you will be provided with a handy map.
The cycling package includes: a guided winery tour, a show-round of the bicycle route, an electric bike (or your own bicycle), helmet, gloves and mobile phone holder (subject to availability), and mineral water. The time limit for e-bike use is 60 minutes per rider.
Booking is required for the cycling package and the use of protective equipment is mandatory. For safety reasons, children under 12 years of age are not allowed to cycle.
