Description

The Tsililis winery and distillery was founded in the village of Raxa, near Trikala, in 1989.
The Tsililis family was the first to standardize tsipouro, with the geographical indication of Thessaly recognized by the European Union.
In 1996, the Tsililis family set up the Theopetra Estate, a model organic vineyard with a winery, aiming at highlighting the unique nature of the local terroir and reviving rare Greek varieties respecting age-old traditions combined with modern technology to perpetuate the local wine culture with full respect for the environment (Natura program 2000).
