Tsantiris Winery

Tsantiris Winery is situated in the village of Ano Proespera, nestled on the northwest side of Ikaria Island. Positioned on the precipice of the Halaris Canyon, at elevations ranging from 350 to 450 meters, it offers stunning vistas of the vineyards and the azure expanse of the Aegean Sea.

The vineyards, located just below the winery, benefit from this proximity, enabling constant care and prompt transportation of the cultivated crops grown on terraces in the traditional fashion. Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, the winery is capable of producing and bottling the estate’s wine, sourced from their organically nurtured vines. These vines yield a limited quantity of high-quality grapes, which are carefully hand-picked by the end of August.
