Olenos Estate

Our journey into the world of wine commenced in the winter of 2003. Estate Olenos, situated in Elassona, a stone’s throw from the legendary Mount Olympus, now encompasses 100 hectares of privately owned organic vineyards. Founded by two friends and agronomists, George Lola and George Ftika, it originated from their deep-rooted passion for viticulture and their expertise in the field. Their shared vision was the renaissance of the historic vineyards of the region and the production of their unique wine. Since then, wine, or ‘OINOS,’ has become the focal point, and Estate Olenos stands as a testament to their joint dedication.

This fervor has been passed down to the next generation, and today, the second generation brings a fresh perspective to the estate. By harmonizing the region’s distinct terroir, specialized knowledge, innovative ideas, and experiences, they pledge to honor the traditions of the past while propelling them into the future.

The overarching concern for all involved is environmental stewardship, guided by comprehensive ‘sustainable’ production management systems
