Description

Antonis Papayannakis is a nomad beekeeper based in Polemarchi, Chania, since 1990. He specializes in producing thyme honey and pollen. His beekeeping unit consists of approximately 160 beehives. Visitors can participate in a beehive tour, donning beekeeper gear to inspect the hives, taste fresh honey, and discuss the nutritional value of honey and pollen, as well as the role of bees in the ecosystem. Honey and pollen are available for purchase.
