Ktima Karipidis

In 1908, Karipidis family settled in Vounaina, Thessaly, 25 km SW of Larissa, with a great interest in viticulture. More than a century later, the family’s relation with the wine and winemaking is even stronger and more consistent. Today the vineyard covers an area of approximately 30Ha and is planted with seven organically-grown grape varieties.
Pantelis Karipidis and his family continue the tradition by producing wines that stand out not only for their quality but also for the experiences they give in every glass. Ktima Karipidis is a model winery with a high interest in the production of high-quality wines and at the same time, visitors can enjoy in a warm and hospitable environment together with the magical world of wine-making through the character of Karipidis wines.

TOUR AND TASTING

Visitors to the winery will have a guided tour of the facilities and the vineyards, as well as of a small museum of agricultural machinery of past times and enjoy a tasting session of our wines, which express the strong personality of the terroir of Vounaina, in a special tasting hall, thus having the chance to learn more about wine and its history.
