My name is Anna Kaltsidou, and I am passionate about sericulture—the ancient art of cultivating silkworms. From tiny eggs to exquisite silk threads, I have dedicated myself to preserving this timeless tradition and sharing it with the world.
Nestled in the serene village of Makrynitsa, at the foothills of Mount Belles in the enchanting Serres region, lies the Koukouli Sericulture Unit. Spanning 7 acres of lush landscape and featuring 800 square meters of thoughtfully designed facilities, Koukouli has been welcoming visitors since 2016.
