Description
Best friends since childhood, we grew up in the heart of Athens, always longing for a life closer to nature. Though we had no deep rural ties, the dream of living and working in the countryside never faded. In 2020, we finally took the leap—leaving behind conventional careers and urban routines to return to our ancestral land: the fertile, sun-kissed region of Phthia in Thessaly.
With a passion for sustainability, we embraced small-scale farming, combining traditional wisdom with modern eco-friendly practices. Our goal? To create premium, all-natural products that capture the essence of the Greek Ipethros—its purity, its richness, its soul.
Today, fully devoted to our craft, we are proud to share the fruits of our labor with the world. Join us in celebrating nature’s finest!
Ipethros Dried Fruit & Crops Visit
- City-to-Farm Story Visit: Discover the inspiring story of Ipethros — two lifelong friends who left Athens to realise their dream of working the land in Central Greece
- Dried Fruit & Nut Production: Learn about the cultivation and processing of premium dried fruits and nuts using the natural advantages of the Central Greek landscape
- Product Tasting: Taste Ipethros’s exceptional dried fruits, nuts, and organic products — the fruits of a dream pursued with passion and genuine commitment to quality
Step into the heart of nature and experience the beauty of our farm firsthand! Depending on the season, you might witness and even take part in essential farming activities—pruning the walnut trees in February–March, tending to the fields in spring and summer, or experiencing the excitement of the harvest after October 10th. You’ll also get an exclusive demonstration of our agricultural machinery in action at our farm’s storage area.
Venture into our aromatic plant fields, where the air is filled with natural fragrances. A vehicle suitable for dirt roads is required, but the journey is well worth it! If you visit during spring or summer, you can see (and even try your hand at) weeding, while in May–June, you can witness the harvest in full swing.
