Galeni is a family-owned enterprise that boasts a rich heritage in cheese-making. Situated in close proximity to Rokani Temenous in Heraklion, Crete, the company creates a unique, Cretan-style creamy cheese alongside its classic range of products, all crafted using traditional techniques within state-of-the-art facilities. Those who visit the region for its agricultural and livestock attractions will be greeted with breathtaking vistas of nature, as well as the opportunity to explore the Byzantine church of Panagia Galeniani, which is not only Crete’s most ancient church but also its best-preserved. It was this awe-inspiring place that inspired both the name of our business and our products.

TOUR AND TASTING

Our guests will be provided with a tour of our cutting-edge facilities, where they will be led through the entire milk production process, starting from the collection and quality control stages, moving on to the processing phase, and culminating in the packaging of our goods. The tour will conclude with a tasting session, allowing visitors to sample our offerings.
