Description
We are a creative collective of culinary minds, storytellers, and cultural curators with a shared passion for gastronomy, wine, and tradition. From immersive cooking experiences to sensory-driven narratives, we craft one-of-a-kind moments where flavour meets memory, and creativity bridges the past with the present.
Each event is thoughtfully designed to celebrate heritage while sparking curiosity, joy, and human connection. Guided by Kleri Bakoura — a cultural researcher and PhD candidate exploring the rich interplay between food and theatre — our experiences are rooted in deep cultural insight and brought to life with care, imagination, and soul.
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Fetaverse is more than a cooking class — it’s a flavourful journey through history, culture, and the soul of Greek cuisine. Curated by food heritage researchers, this immersive experience blends hands-on cooking with storytelling, sensory discovery, and shared joy around the table.
We begin with a playful blind tasting (can you tell feta from lookalikes?) and unravel the epic story of this iconic cheese — from its mythic origins with Cyclops Polyphemus in Homer’s Odyssey to its modern status as a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) treasure.
As we prepare traditional dishes like tyrokafteri, spanakopita, and Greek salad, we delve into the cultural and environmental roots of feta through short films, music, and oral histories from the people who know it best — Greek farmers and cheesemakers.
We end the experience gathered around a generous table, enjoying what we’ve created — paired with local wines and craft beers, plus hearty homemade favourites like moussaka or giant beans. It’s a celebration of flavour, memory, and connection — where every bite tells a story.
