The Kotsonis Estate is located in the area of Ancient Mycenae in Argos, Peloponnese just 25 minutes from the picturesque city of Nafplion. It extends to an area of approximately 100 hectares. The Estate mainly produces olive oil from Manaki olive variety characterized by its fruity but not bitter taste and stands out for its creamy texture and its smooth aftertaste. The Kotsonis Estate employs the most contemporary methods of olive oil production and standardization. Visitors can discover the secrets of the green ‘’gold’’ of Greece and learn about olive oil production, its classification, the tasting procedure, the importance of olive oil in Greek gastronomy as well as the benefits in human health.
Tour and Tasting
A walk through the olive groves and the Estate and a visit to the family open museum where you will see old olive oil mill machinery together with videos and photos of the harvest and the modern process of extraction. The tour ends with an olive oil tasting accompanied by some Greek delicacies.
