Festival of Greek Honey an Bee Products, take place at the Peace & Frieendship Stadium, aims to promote Greek honey and bee products and to inform the public on its potential.
The three-day festival held at the seaside Peace & Friendship Stadium in Neo Faliro and is the honey-producing sector’s biggest event.
Organized every two years under the auspices of the Rural Development and Food Ministry, the Festival is expected to feature over 70 large, medium and small-scale islands.
The show will include everything from honey-inspired dishes and sweets prepared on the spot by practicing chefs, cocktail-making shows, presentations on the health and pharmaceutical benefits of honey, the role of honey in Greek cuisine and the Mediterranean diet, as well as demonstrations on beekeeping.
Visitors will also have the chance to familiarize themselves with the many types of Greek-produced honey and meet the producers. On the sidelines, conferences will be held on topics including the promotion and branding of Greek honey and products, honey and gastronomy, social cooperatives and honey production, the export of Greek honey and products.

The aim of the 10th Festival is the promotion of the famous Greek Honey, especially of small producers, and of honey products to the consumers and to the mass catering areas. It is also the place for the conclusion of commercial and business agreements between producers and operators of beekeeping products and equipment.

The exhibition, organized in the framework of the 10th Hellenic Honey & Bee Products Festival, is the place where all the beekeepers involved in the beekeeping, training, and information field meet, all the developments in the field of production, machinery, equipment, new technologies, new standards, standardization, promotion, hygiene and safety of honey and other honey products will fully meet the needs of the area’s entrepreneurs as it as the products, equipment, and services of Honey and its Products.
