The beloved gathering of beekeepers returns! The most beautiful garden in Athens will be alive with the golden treasures of bees: honey, pollen, propolis, royal jelly, and other select products that perfectly complement nature’s most nutritious gift.

From October 30 to November 3, beekeepers and producers from across Greece will come together at the heart of the capital to showcase the richness of Greek beekeeping and the finest local products.

Over 100 small Greek producers—many of them young beekeepers—will present their unique honey varieties alongside highly nutritious superfoods sourced from every corner of Greece.

The festival’s mission is to celebrate Greek beekeeping and local products while educating visitors about honey and the vital role of bees in the environment. Exhibitors aim to share their products with a broader audience, grow their customer base, and highlight the unique regions they represent.

The 9th Honey Festival promises to be bigger and richer than ever, featuring:

  • Fun activities for children
  • Expert presentations on bee product production
  • Talks on bees’ contribution to the environment
  • Interactive games and much more

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore rare honey varieties and other bee products, taste, and purchase them directly from producers in regions such as Vytina, Kalymnos, Halkidiki, Mani, Sfakia, Souli, Gytheio, Amorgos, Tinos, Tzia, Komotini, Dodoni, Karpathos, Paros, Karpenisi, and beyond.

Additionally, a curated selection of local Greek foods—herbs, spices, dairy products, spoon sweets, and more—will be available for purchase. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the producers face-to-face and learn more about the products they purchase.

Join us in the most beautiful garden of Athens for the sweetest festival of the city!
