Vaptistis Winery’s journey began with deep roots in Tinos — the island that shaped it, inspired it, and gave rise to the desire to create something truly special. What started as a personal love for this beautiful Cycladic land soon evolved into a passion project: the creation of a vineyard producing wines that reflect the soul of the island.

Driven by conviction, conscious choice, and genuine affection for the craft, the winery works exclusively with Greek grape varieties carefully selected to thrive in the unique microclimate of Tinos — varieties that have proven themselves resilient and expressive in the island’s soils and winds.

The goal is twofold: to contribute to the growing recognition of Greek viticulture on Tinos Island and to share the hidden treasures of Tinos — its terroirs, its traditions, and its timeless beauty.

The boutique winery is nestled in the village of Steni, at the foot of Mount Tsiknias, standing proudly at an altitude of 410 meters above sea level. Since 2018, this has been the home of a carefully designed space where every stage of winemaking, from harvest to bottling, takes place under one roof.
