Aidarini Winery

Since the late 19th century, the Aidarini family has lived in Goumenissa, not far from Giannitsa, where it produces fine wines and tsipouro. The winery is now a part of the living tradition of this beautiful region.
This family-run business, led by Christos Aidarinis, owns private vineyards and maintains enduring partnerships with grape growers of the Goumenissa Designation of Origin zone.
Aiming to constantly improve its products, the Aidarinis family was relocated to a new, well-equipped winery at the entrance of the town with a picturesque cellar, a major attraction for visitors, where guests are welcome for guided tours and tastings, also serving as a point of sales.

The tour commences with an insightful presentation about the region, delving into its rich history and its enduring connection with centuries-old wine production. Subsequently, participants embark on a guided tour of the premises, exploring the facilities and gaining a deeper understanding of the winemaking process. The experience culminates with a delightful wine tasting, allowing guests to savour the nuanced flavours of the region’s exceptional wines.
