Description
Dardouma Family is a model family pasta workshop that produces a wide variety of handmade trahana and pasta products, located in South Evia close to Aliveri.
Although founded in 2008, “Dardouma Family” has 100 years of experience in handmade pasta. The tradition has been passed on from generation to generation. Today grandma Maria’s dream has been realized by brothers John and Evangelos Mallios. The gastronomically interesting workshop produces and promotes Greek and local pasta products, and is open to visitors.
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Engaging in the process of producing pasta, guests weigh the semolina and milk, break eggs and knead the ingredients in the pasta-making machine.
They can make whatever pasta variety they want and place it on the drying frames.
They can also produce handmade trahana, weigh flour and milk, knead the trahana, rub the dough on the sieve and spread the trahana on the drying frames.
