Description
In the organic vineyards of Nemea, Peloponnese, Wisdom of Nature invites you to participate in the ancient art of making petimezi — the traditional Greek grape must syrup used for thousands of years as a natural sweetener. This two-hour hands-on activity in Nemea is a rare living link to ancient Greek food culture.
Established in 2005 in the Nemea region of the Peloponnese, Wisdom of Nature cultivates eight hectares of organically farmed Greek grape varieties — including the famous Agiorgitiko and Roditis — to produce high-quality organic vinegar and petimezi without preservatives or additives. Today the company exports to more than 15 countries.
