TOUR DESCRIPTION AND TASTING
Kyklopas’ roadside flags on the way to Makri will lead you to our large parking area, which is suitable for both cars and coaches. We will welcome you to our air-conditioned building where there are activities children can engage, while you explore our facilities starting at the olive press. We will explain the olive oil extracting process from the beginning, with the emptying of crates of olives, to its end, with the filtered olive oil flowing out. Visitors will also see the stainless-steel tanks of our warehouse, as well as our bottling facilities, together with a short video showing the entire harvesting and olive-oil extraction process.
The tour ends outdoors, where visitors can enjoy the fresh air and take pictures under olive trees thousands of years old. It’s an unforgettable experience, which is not to be missed.
A tasting session follows with the entire range of our products, and especially of the world’s premier olive oil: Kyklopas extra virgin olive oil, together with our naturally-infused and flavored olive oils and our ground olives with fruits and herbs such as lemon, orange, garlic, chili, and basil. Visitors will learn how to use each type of oil in cooking and enjoy the local olive variety by dipping warm bread into its olive paste.
