Our donkeys are bred in Avlona in Attica, on the foothills of Parnitha Mountain, in a hectare farm that includes ten indoor stables, separated into pregnant, adults, mothers, and calve stables. The donkeys graze in a suitable fenced outdoor area within the farm, as well as inside the stables, depending on weather conditions where grazing is done on feed provided by an equine veterinary specialist, who also regularly checks them for health-related preventive reasons. At the same time, regular microbiological and medical checks are held by a specialized research center (dairy laboratory) on the animals as well as on the milk produced.
TOUR DESCRIPTION AND TASTING
The farm visitors will tour the farm, get close to the donkeys, and receive a briefing about their breeding and the benefits of donkey’s milk in human health. A tasting session follows with 50ml donkey’s milk and one pack of cookies made of five kinds of cereal of organic farming and donkey milk while receiving information about the company’s products. Finally, they will be able to make their purchases before leaving.
