The Vaeni Naoussa Coop is one of the most modern wine-producing Cooperative companies in Greece, representing 50% of the Naoussa PDO wine production, a region renowned for its exquisite red wines.
The cooperative has 200 members, experienced vine growers driven by their deep love for quality wine. This vital human factor combined with the use of advanced technology, guarantees the high quality of the wines produced from Xinomavro, an indigenous red grape variety dominant in northern Greece.
The winery is staffed with qualified experts and operates according to European standards. It is situated within the boundaries of the viticultural zone of Naoussa, the “Burgundy” of Greece. What characterizes the company is experience and reliability. Today the wines of Vaeni identified right from the first sip for their distinctive superiority are exported to China, Russia, the USA, Canada, Kazakhstan, Australia, Dubai, New Zealand, Japan, Ukraine, Belarus, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland, the UK, Serbia, and Cyprus.
TOUR AND TASTING
Visitors will be guided at the winery’s premises, the bottling facilities, and the cellar, one of the most important of the region and enjoy a tasting session of three wines accompanied by graviera and paximadi.
