The Tsantali family has been cultivating vineyards, making wines and distilling ouzo and tsipouro since 1890. Evangelos Tsantalis, a second-generation winemaker and among the most charismatic figures in the history of Greek winemaking, has turned a local family business into a rapidly developing brand name at the forefront of innovation.
The revival of some of the most exquisite vineyards in Northern Greece, like Mount Athos, Rapsani, Halkidiki, and Maronia, is attributed to the family’s vision.
Thanks to the family’s dedication and strategic investments, its unique winemaking traditions remain alive, biodiversity and native grape varieties have been preserved, and younger vine- growers and winemakers have been incentivized to continue.
This long-standing heritage is carried on today by the third and fourth generation of the Tsantalis family. The goal remains to integrate deep respect for the identity of the vineyard, an emphasis on quality and sustainable development, a commitment to insightful entrepreneurship and the promotion of wines and spirits of high quality all over the world.
