Troupis Winery is situated at an altitude of about 700 meters above sea level in the Fteri region in the heart of Mantinia plateau, 10 km north of Tripoli, in the centre of the regional viticultural zone.
The history of the winery starts in 2010 when the Troupis family began cultivating seven hectares of privately-owned vineyards.
Since then, the winery has evolved in size, equipment, and personnel, resulting in the production of its fine wines. Meanwhile, great emphasis is placed on innovative vinification techniques as well as on the micro-vinification of other Greek varieties, including old and forgotten ones like Kolliniatiko and Mavrodaphne.
The land, climate, and gentle environmental management, as well as low yield per hectare, give the gifted moschofilero variety all the elements needed for producing a quality PDO Mantinia wine.
The Troupis family’s ongoing investments in infrastructure both for vineyards and for vinification (with new production areas, large-capacity cold storage facilities, and bottling equipment) ensures authenticity, quality, consistency, and a future for the wines produced.
