The commercial exploitation of Sariza spring was officially launched by “Trading Sariza S.A.” in 1929, located in the village of Apikia on the island of Andros when the company built a bottling plant near the source. By the late 1940s, the new owners renovated the premises, modernized the factory equipment and created a new distribution system. The bottling plant, which has been operating in its current location since 1967, was built in the early 1960s.
Awards, distinctions, and titles at exhibitions around the world have validated the results. It is worth mentioning that the Sariza water has been distributed throughout Greece as well as countries like Saudi Arabia, Japan, Egypt, and the UK. Nowadays the company “Nera Sariza SA” (“Sariza Water SA”) is modernizing its technological equipment while remaining faithful to the principles of quality, purity, and reliability that have distinguished it. Since 1929, we have preserved unaltered the original recipe by offering products that have been ranked first in Europe for quality.
