Milia, located in a mountainous, environmentally sensitive area of western Crete in the prefecture of Chania and at the center of Kissamos province, is an experience worth having.
Milia means a return to the basics, an escape from daily life, a place for relaxation, and doing things for yourself and your close friends and family. Milia provides the basics. Water is provided by springs and solar panels provide electricity. You will also find chestnuts, walnuts, gardens, and animals.
The apartments in Milia were built in the 15th century and were renovated with attention to detail in order to capture the atmosphere of that period. Our cuisine is based on the fresh, high-quality products of our land, as well as Cretan gastronomic culture.

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Come in November to enjoy with us the warmth of friends and the fresh tsikoudia (commonly called raki in eastern Crete) from our excellent brewing vats. Learn how distillation takes place and try out the local delicacies along with tsikoudia.
