Ιn 1998, Christos Poultsidis cultivated his first vineyard in Nees Karyes, Larissa. It covered 5 acres and had 22 Greek and foreign varieties for white and red wine. The project aimed to verify adaptation to the microclimate. In 2006, a 6,425-acre vineyard was created after analyzing quality and production. Poultsidis Winery now has 12,350 acres, modern technology, an eco-friendly space and a public wine cellar.
