Palivou Estate, a small and hospitable winery built in the family-owned vineyard, inaugurates a new era focused on discovering a new wine experience that offers the visitor a completely different aspect in his tourist wanderings. It is located at a distance of 127 km – just over an hour’s drive from Athens, and 800 meters from the imposing archaeological site of Ancient Nemea-, within the P.D.O. Nemea zone, the biggest vineyard of the Balkans, the “Bordeaux of Southeast Europe”. It is a vineyard of 2.500 ha. where Palivou Estate owns one of the two largest vineyards of the zone, planted mostly with the Agiorgitiko variety, but also with other grape varieties such as Rodites, Malagousia, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, all producing high-quality wines.

The best way to get acquainted with the production process of Palivou wines is to follow the route that passes through the vineyard, continues to the winery, and ends in the ageing cellar of the estate with more than 300 barrels of French and American oak, and taste award-winning wines of the estate.
