Description

Ktima Biblia Chora is located on the rugged slopes of Mt. Pangaeo, in Kokkinohori, Kavala prefecture. It is a “dream come true” for two oenologists, Vassilis Tsaktsarlis and Vangelis Gerovassiliou. Motivated by their love for wine, they joined forces to produce high-quality wines by founding a model organic vineyard on 50 Ha of land.
The philosophy of the estate focuses on the production of high-quality wines, bearing the mark of the Pangaean ecosystem and highlighting its uniqueness.
The vineyards of the Estate are located at an altitude of 400 meters and include Greek and international varieties, in accordance with the standards of organic farming.
The winery itself is located in the middle of the vineyard. It is a modern unit of 6,600 square meters, including the production, bottling, aging of the wines, reception, tasting, and hospitality premises.
Currently, Ktima Biblia Chora produces ten wines having the designation of a Protected Geographical Indication Pangaeo, and two varietal wines.

TOUR DESCRIPTION AND TASTING
A visit to the Ktima Biblia Chora includes a reception at the winery with a brief introduction to the regional history of the wine and of the winery, a tour of the premises of production, bottling, and packaging of wines, as well as at the cellar where the wine ages in oak barrels.
